Dr. Angela To's journey through cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego and Scottsdale ultimately led her to the vibrant community of Portland, drawn by its stunning natural beauty and thriving artisan scene.
With a special spot in her heart for pediatric care, Dr. To finds joy in enhancing the vision of children, allowing them to see the world more clearly. When not transforming lives at the clinic, she's out embracing the great outdoors, indulging in the culinary scene, baking, or enjoying precious moments with her husband and their two young explorers. Dr. To honed her expertise at the Illinois College of Optometry, followed by specialized residency training in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry. Her passion for teaching led her back to ICO, where she shaped future optometrists in various pediatric and vision therapy disciplines.
She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and has been a true advocate for children's vision health and binocular vision. She has presented posters and vision therapy workshops at the national AAO meetings. With roots in Canada and a profound appreciation for knowledge, she lives by the words of Rene Descartes, “The reading of all good books is like a conversation with the finest minds of past centuries.”
