There’s something unique about working one on one with patients as an optometrist. We aren’t just looking for the right answer, but also what is individually right for each patient.
That back and forth; learning about people and doing what I can to help them both see and feel better is why I love optometry and love what I do, and MyOptic gives me the time and opportunity to be the best doctor I can be for each patient.
When I’m not at work, I tend to just be a huge nerd. From playing Dungeons and Dragons on weekends to a wide variety of video games in my free time, I try to keep busy with social and cooperative gaming. I also enjoy finding and getting good food, which Portland offers plenty – especially around our stores!
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Kevin attended UBC for his undergrad before moving to Oregon where he attended the Pacific University College of Optometry. He graduated with a bachelors in vision sciences and a doctorate of optometry.
After graduating, he worked in Tucson, Arizona for a few years before finally being able to move back to Oregon where he continues to practice
